Leather and Studs, Whitworth Street West, Manchester

Ellie and Phil

Is there anything not perfect about this pair!? I am in love with their 50′s rockabilly look! The hair! The leather! His electric blue creepers! I strongly suggest you click on the image to enlarge it so you can see all the details – especially the studs on Ellie’s jacket collar. So hot. So hot.

xx

Ps) Just a quick note, I’m in the middle of dissertation proposal writing hell, which is why I’ve been mostly putting up street style posts – far less time consuming than taking 6 billion photographs of my self in order to find the two or three that don’t make me look like an absolute monster!! Ha ha!

Wow this is awesome, 50's rockabilly done right. I like this look with the leather jacket and pants so much more on this girl than going for an all-out pinup image. They both styled their hair amazingly, I wonder how long it takes him to get it like that? And the blue creepers look so good (hard to go wrong with blue suede), I kind of want a pair.

  15. Hmm, I'm not convinced on the harem front. I think they might be over now. They might even be 'sooo over'!! I have a pair but they are structured work trousers rather than a voluminous jersey affair. Maybe I'll try to style them up in an outfit post and see if I think they are still a viable fashion choice. Interesting… I do love a challenge!

  23. Diana Dye – your vintage shops take card payments!! Wow, the vintage shops in Manchester only take cash – so I have to run back and forth to the cash point all day!! And thank you, what a lovely thing to say!
